This was very unexpected. As I was roaming Apple's site, new Apple Software suites were being shown off in the "Mac" section. Two Apple Production suites, Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio, were majorly upgraded. These new versions of the popular production software of course claim to make your creation look better, through new features; most notably the use of the ProRes codec, which allows you to save HD video content in SD video file sizes.
